Goathlands and Robin Hoods Bay at Christmas, North Yorkshire

We moved from the Midlands mid 2017 to the wonderful town of Whitby in North Yorkshire. Such a beautiful place to live. With its surrounding villages and places to visit there is so many things I can photograph for my own personal pleasure.

I went out on the icy road to visit Goathland train station, used in Harry Potter and a Heartbeat. An old working train station that connects the surrounding areas via a steam train.

Braving the cold, I drove down to Robin Hoods Bay, a small village just 10 mins from Whitby. Its old unspoilt houses, shops and pubs are a photographer’s dream. Beautiful scenery.
